Yin Yoga and TCM: Spring Wellness

A Workshop Series dedicated to Yin yoga and its roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Meridian Theory: This two-hour workshop will include a lecture and Q + A led by Traditional Chinese practitioner, Samantha Romanowski so you may more deeply understand the relationship between Yin yoga and TCM, the seasons, and aligning yourself will the cycles of nature.

Following the lecture will be a Yin yoga practice dedicated to the Meridian pair associated with the season. In this Yin practice, we will draw upon the knowledge gained in the first half of the workshop, and apply it as we move through Yin postures to stimulate the meridians through both stretch and compression.

About Sam

Before becoming a TCM practitioner, Sam had a career in hospitality, trying to help others find enjoyment in the daily aspects of life, like a delicious cocktail or fabulous dress. While it was fun, she knew she was meant to connect with people on a deeper level. Nudged by her dad to “figure out what she wanted”, Sam came to discover that practicing Chinese Medicine is her soul purpose.

Chinese Medicine challenges the way she thinks, feels and connects to herself; it introduced her to another aspect of life - the energetic experience. She brings this experience to others through her practice of Amma Therapy, TCM based nutritional guidance, and holistic health coaching. Working as a partner with her clients, she encourages them to bring more self-awareness into their daily life and empowers them to take ownership of their health.
